Xi Chi Omega Chapter mourns 1st Chapter President

Our charter member and first Chapter President, Golden Soror Wiley Ann Dickerson, has become an Ivy Beyond the Wall on May 26, 2020. We pray that God covers her family and all her loved ones with strength and support as they mourn the loss of their matriarch.
Wiley Ann Dickerson was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, and a cherished alumna of West Virginia State University. Soror Wiley Ann Ricard Dickerson was very passionate about her alma mater. There is an endowed Dickerson Scholarship at West Virginia State University. In honor of her memory, the family requests that you please consider donating $65 (or more) to reach the goal of $65,000 to continue allowing aspiring students to ACHIEVE @ WVSU.

On January 15, 2020 Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated will celebrate 112 years of service. On that day, we celebrate the leadership, foresight and commitment of Alpha Kappa Alpha’s Founders. 112 years later, the legacy of sisterhood, scholarship, and service continues to thrive through our 286,000 members and 1,005 chapters worldwide.

Miss April Wainwright was installed as President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Xi Chi Omega chapter in December 2019. She will serve the 40+ member chapter in northern Westchester County and Putnam County NY from 2020-2021.

On December 8, 2019, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Xi Chi Omega Chapter welcomed fifteen (15 +1) new members to our esteemed sisterhood. Our President Dolores Bacourt Ammons, Membership chair Tonya McLaughlin, MIP chair along with the committee, worked to make this process one that will never be forgetten. We were blessed to have in attendance 25th International President Norma Solomon White. Welcome new members.
