President's Message
Welcome to the official website of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®, Xi Chi Omega Chapter.
It is my esteem honor to join the ranks of the prestigious women that came before me, as I serve as the current President of Xi Chi Omega Chapter. I believe that, "excellence cannot be outdistanced," in rendering service to our communities.
Since 1908, Alpha Kappa Alpha has improved the lives of people worldwide by attracting and retaining capable and motivated members who genuinely care about each other and the people they serve. Xi Chi Omega Chapter represents more than 40 multi-cultural, accomplished and successful women who are unwavering in the belief that sisterhood, service to all mankind and scholarship are essential to our commitment to Northern Westchester and Putnam County communities.
With over 36 years of service and leadership, Xi Chi Omega members have developed innovative service programs that address significant issues in the areas of education, health, family, the arts, technology and economics. As the oldest African-American community service sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha attributes its longevity to accountable leadership and organization efficiency. We act locally to have a positive impact on our neighbors and our neighborhoods. We seek out partners who share our values and complement our strengths.
